Acceptance of Terms
By engaging The Nurse Kay Experience for care services, clients acknowledge and agree to these terms, applicable care policies, privacy practices, and service-specific instructions provided before care begins.
Services are available by appointment and are provided only when the requested care falls within the lawful scope of a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
Non-Emergency Services
The Nurse Kay Experience provides private duty nursing support, health maintenance, and wellness promotion in home or community settings. Services do not include emergency response, ambulance transport, or hospital-level services.
In any life-threatening or urgent medical situation, clients must call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately.
Private duty nursing does not replace physician care, advanced practice provider care, or prescribed medical treatment plans.
Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate medical history, allergy, medication, and provider information
- Provide valid provider orders before any service requiring authorization
- Maintain a safe, clean, and accessible care environment
- Notify The Nurse Kay Experience of any changes in condition before scheduled care
- Respect appointment times, cancellation policies, and payment terms
Provider Orders & Care Limits
Services requiring provider authorization, including medication administration, intravenous therapy, wound-related procedures, or other clinical interventions, will only be performed after a valid provider order is received and reviewed.
The Nurse Kay Experience may decline, pause, or discontinue a service request when the requested care is outside RN scope, unsafe, unsupported by required documentation, or not appropriate for a private home care setting.
Rates, Payment & Cancellation
The Nurse Kay Experience operates on a private pay basis. Service rates, fees, and expected payment timing are disclosed before service is confirmed. Payment is due according to the invoice, booking agreement, or written instructions provided to the client.
Cancellations require at least 24 hours of notice to avoid applicable fees. Missed visits, late cancellations, returned payments, or delayed payments may result in additional charges or suspension of future services.
Updates to Terms
The Nurse Kay Experience reserves the right to update these terms as business practices, healthcare regulations, or service offerings evolve.
Changes will be communicated to current clients in writing. Continued engagement with The Nurse Kay Experience following a policy update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
